Excellent food, friendly service. Not only are their signature Tex Mex/Latin infused dishes top notch, they also do classic breakfasts that are extremely good! The corned beef hash is amazing, and their pancakes come with real butter and real maple syrup without an upcharge! Expect a wait for brunch, but the food is easily worth the wait.
MoreYes it takes a while to get a table but it is absolutely worth it. You can't fault the restaurant for being popular. I love that they offer a lot of different vegan dishes. Last time I got a tofu scramble and this time I got the vegan french toast. The scramble was really well seasoned and bursting with flavor. The french toast was super crispy and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try something else!
MoreAll I have to say is wow! Great food options. The best part of Hart's Mesa is if it's not on the menu they can make it for you to your liking with their amazing chef.
MoreSuch amazing food. This is located in a cozy neighborhood. The staff represent Olympia's eclectic youth perfectly. Great place to get a feel of the Olympia culture for sure!
MoreFriendly staff but burnt fajitas. Price doesn't equal amount given. And no chips and salsa at the beginning of meal.
MoreGreat food, will definitely be coming back! Awesome service, please come check this place out, even if the toilet paper roll has identity issues lol. Are you an over or under?
MoreGreat food. Excellent service! We were really impressed.
**Updated review*A Latin spin on locally grown fresh food. The restaurant recently moved downtown and there's lots of improvements on what was already a good thing. Amazing fresh food, with generous portions. Staff was attentive and friendly.
MoreWent there for Father's day and had a bit of a wait which we were expecting. Set up was simple but clean.Staff was busy, our waiter was knowledgeable, patient and funny. Food was very yummy, we all loved what we got some of us thought it was a little pricey. Still I like the food and will go back.
MoreReally great service, beautiful artwork on the walls, clean, and the food was amazing! I'd give 6 β if I could! Highly recommended!
MoreVery tasty. Will definately go back and try more items. Wish they had extended hours and mealtimes.
MoreDELICIOUS! Quick friendly service, clean as far I could tell. Little bit loud, but in a good way, bustling. My only complaint is that there were so many good options on the menu! I'll be back for sure!
MoreUpdated review: I really loved my last meal! The service was great. They accommodated my child - an annoying, low-paying customer when it's really busy. The food was amazing. They added vegan french toast to the menu, really good and on sourdough. The Cilantro Lime Benedict is still your best for brunch. The server said he's not vegan, but that the dish could compete with any meal in town. Great value for the quality of ingredients, presentation, and taste. The restaurant is really smoky inside. I wouldn't take an infant in there. If that issue is resolved, five stars! Shortened past review: Skip the vegan breakfast burrito. I was surprised when the server asked if I wanted beans OR potatoes in the burrito. The menu says "beans AND grilled sweet potatoes." Those aren't precious ingredients.
MoreGreat breakfast place in Olympia. Interesting SW take on classics that works well. The staff were great and even accommodated my son going slightly off menu.
MoreBest mexican in Oly so far. Huge portions and fresh flavors. Lots of veggie and vegan options. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the line of cars you always see in front is a good indicator of the popularity of this hidden gem. Worth the drive! Breakfast served until 4 so come in for a late brunch and leave happy. Friendly staff too.
MoreHart's Mesa was a good breakfast place (I believe they are open all day) with tasty Latin takes on breakfast standbys. I ordered the chilaquiles and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Try ordering "messy" to have pico, cheese , and crema added to your meal.
MoreThe new location on Colombia is finally up to par with the previous location. Daniel is the best server in that joint. He always delivers the best service and is very attentive. It gets pretty warm in the restaurant during the summer so plan accordingly. The wait can be long but it's expected for such great food.
MoreOutstanding Mex breakfast. 5 star in every way. $12-$15 a plate. Don't complain.
MoreLoved the food will definitely be back again. I just wish I lived closer
So delicious! Pretty busy, little bit of a wait for brunch but so worth it. I got the cilantro lime benedict (sans tofu) over mesa cakes and husband got a veggie omelet and potatoes. Every bite satisfied each of my tastebuds. I can't wait to go back! They even have a separate vegan menu which is awesome and so thoughtful! Staff was very friendly. No complaints.
MoreThis place is usually busy for a good reason; great food at a moderate price. The menu has a nice variety of authentic Mexican dishes which include vegetarian and vegan options. There is also a good variety of Mexican beers. The table service is outstanding and the seating is comfortable. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. This place is crowded and can be very noisy. Technically this place is handicapped accessible, but a very tight turn at the narrow front door along with tightly packed tables/seating pretty much nullifies access except crutches or cane.If you found this review to be helpful please consider a thumbs-up.
MoreWe had not been in Hart's Mesa since they moved. We suggested it for a late breakfast with our friends. The old place was in an old house, this is all one room and can be noisy. Now we know, don't go here expecting to be able to have a conversation. Anyway our friends were intrigued by the vegan entrees, even though they are not vegan or vegetarians, and enjoyed what they ordered. My wife had the Tex Mex Style Migas, which I think she has ordered before, and really liked it. I had Sourdough French Toast, which was also very good. The service was decent.
MoreUpdate, they are unfortunately closed. First of all..two things; they now serve dinner and don't be in hurry. This traditionally breakfast and lunch establishment has now branched out to dinner. Unlike most mornings, we were able to get seated for dinner right away. Southwest cuisine, we settled on enchilada and tacos which were fabulous. Our neighbors had a chicken dish which looked absolutely delicious and a huge, but I can't remember the name. They offer a vegan menu also. Warning: you get pickled carrots with a dip that they warn you is hot, it is! The brussel sprouts side is the way to go. The slight wait was worth it. I'll be back very soon.
MorePlease make this a must stop if you enjoy uniquely authentic oringinal latin fare. Incredibly delicious foods prepared by people who have passion and care about what they are doing. Vegan and vetgatarian friendly, you can rest assured that your taste buds will be tantilzed. Worthy of a trip from anyware around the sound, bring your friends, bring your family, we surely will next time! Hat's off to you Hart's Mesa!
MoreThe have official Philly Cheesesteaks with the Amoroso bread to back it's authenticity. Very delicious. Can't wait to try their chicken cheesesteak next.
MoreService was excellent, the staff was very cordial, the atmosphere is laid back but also very eclectic, which I enjoyed. The food was exceptional and seating was nice. The only thing I could see some people having an issue with is parking, but my 2011 jeep grand Cherokee had no problem. They initially served me the wrong meal which I absently just started digging into. They made it up to me when they brought my actual order, and let me keep the original platter. Great South West themed good food, next time I'm here I'll have to try the Olytown omelette.
MoreSuper fantastic. Worth the trip
Totally awesome experience! The food is just getting better every time my wife and I visit this place. There presentation is on point. Such colorful and tasty foods. They have an awesome Bloody Mary, and many other adult beverage choices. Totally a kid friendly environment. My wife got the Chipotle Benedict and I had the Beef Brisket Hash that was on special. Served to us by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everyone works like a team there. It is really fun to watch.
